The Hyundai Elantra is Upscale and Well-Equipped

The Hyundai Elantra is one of our top-selling sedans, and customers who come into our San Antonio dealership to purchase or lease one are doing so because they love the model's quality, upscale style that looks class-above, and the excellent amenities. Style matters, and Hyundai sets themselves apart from the competition by designing models that have a cool, sophisticated vibe. Even on the more entry-level options, you'll still sense the maturity of the exterior and interior design. Some trim-specific amenities you can get to stand out more in your Elantra include a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob - or a full-on leather interior - large 18-inch wheels, and a flat-bottom steering wheel.

The new Hyundai Elantra lineup has three engines. Most trims get the 2.0L with 147 horsepower. There is an Eco trim with a 1.4L turbo. That engine has 128 horsepower, but you'll get 156 lb-ft torque to command as you zip around town. The Sport trim has a 1.6L turbo with an explosive 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft toque. The Sport also has a sport-tuned suspension and other engineering tweaks to help differentiate it from its siblings.

To maintain their popularity, cars these days need to be tech-savvy, and that's not an issue for the Hyundai Elantra. You can get a 7- or 8-inch touchscreen, access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (which some brands still don't offer), subscriptions to a few Hyundai BlueLink services, and power seating. We're also big fans of the hands-free trunk, as this is a feature you don't generally see on sedans - but hey, a trunk on any body style is still hard to open when your hands are full!
